Zdenko Soldo graduated in 1977 from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding in Zagreb. He began his rich professional career at Đuro Đaković Production of Industrial Facilities and Nuclear Equipment, where he worked on designing and building equipment for the petroleum and petrochemical industries. He very quickly advanced to the position of manager of the service for planning and realizing production and projects. In this capacity, he was responsible for planning capacity and for the planning and fulfillment of contracts. Zdenko the built a career Đuro Đaković as director of production, as technical director responsible for engineering and production activities, and then as commercial director responsible for the contracting and completion of projects in ĐĐ Industrial Facilities.
In July 1999, he became a member of the board of Đuro Đaković Industrial Facilities. From 2001 to 2004 he worked outside of Đuro Đaković at Alstom Karlovac and AB Montaža Karlovac. He rejoined the Đuro Đaković Group in 2002 as the assistant director for production in Đuro Đaković Holding, where he was responsible for the coordination of joint activities on projects within the Đuro Đaković group and the fulfillment of contracts. From October 2014 to August 2015 he was executive director of Đuro Đaković Inženjering. In August 2015, he was named technical-commercial director of Đuro Đaković Industrijska rješenja.
