Igor Rubil graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb in 1996. He completed specialized study as an engineer for safety and protection in the field of environmental protection in 2012. As a very young professional, he accepted the demanding position of construction site supervisor in the company Poduzeće za Ceste, where from 1999 to 2002 he worked on the complex project of constructing of the A3 highway.
His successful completion of this assignment allowed him to move to the position of director and project head in the company Birotehna, where he worked until his arrival in the Đuro Đaković group in 2012. In Đuro Đaković Holding he was responsible for the business areas of Construction and Infrastructure and was director of the department for property management and investment. From September 2014 to August 2015 he served as executive director of Đuro Đaković Inženjering. In August 2015, he was named executive director of Đuro Đaković Industrijska rješenja.
